Focusrite's line of Scarlett interfaces continue to raise the bar and the 18i8 is a feature packed interface in a relatively small package. Four of Focusrite's award-winning preamplifiers adorn the front of the interface for easy access while the back offers an additional four line inputs. But don't fret as the additional ADAT optical input will allow for eight more channels of input when it comes time to expand your setup. The additional S/PDIF input/output gives you an additional stereo in and out for other devices that support the protocol.
