San Antonio, TX – March 10, 2012 – March is designated as Music In Our Schools month in Texas.  You can celebrate by dusting off your used instruments and donating them to kids in local schools. San Antonio based non-profit organization Music In The Schools is collecting gently used musical instruments March 10th – March 31st at Alamo Music Center.  Collected instruments will be repaired and delivered to local public schools in the San Antonio area. One local elementary school teacher was instructing her 4th grade class to play piano on cardboard keyboards.  Music In The Schools found out and surprised the class with a donation of 5 keyboards.  Now the teacher rewards the students with good behavior with a chance to play the real keyboards.

Most needed instruments are flutes, clarinets, keyboards, guitars, violins, trombones and much more.  All donations are 100% tax-deductible.
