"The Anacleto Collection is made from the finest components, handcrafted in Italy."

- Eduardo Hernandez | Los Tigres Del Norte

For 100 years, Hohner has been dedicated to the advancement of lively and diverse music communities and our current accordion line can contribute to this goal like never before.

Hand-made reeds, valves, precision mechanics, keys, buttons, wood, and metal are the soul of the instrument. The vast amount of individual parts and the impressive logic in how they are arranged within the instrument as seen in the picture opposite leave the viewer in awe and fascination.

Few musical instruments are so complex and contain so many different parts. Out of this complexity comes a versatile and mobile instrument alive with tonality. This was the goal of the first accordion makers over 180 years ago and its achievement is evident in the popularity of the accordion worldwide.

Design and Function

Synthesis of Function & Design
Each accordion is hand crafted and designed with crystal patterns and color schemes to fit the artists taste and create stage presence. In order to meet the functional demands of different music styles, the Anacleto collection offers 3, 5, and 9 registers for different tonalities. Norteño, Conjunto, Tex-Mex, and Zydeco players will find the Anacleto Series has products designed specifically for their music genre. For those who demand even more versatility, the two-tone (two accordions in one) and 4-row diatonic models extend the note range. Alamo Music Anacleto Accordion Make

Hand-Made Reeds

Excellence In Tone
Every Anacleto Series accordion is made using hand made (a mano) reeds of the highest quality available. Our reeds are fabricated from the finest ribbon reed stock and are placed in hard aluminum frames with exceptionally tight tolerances.
“Machine reeds,” “dural reeds” and “tipo a mano reeds” used by many other famous brands simply do not provide the level of performance and durability required to meet the Anacleto standard.

Fingerboard

Unmatched Feel & Response
In creating the Anacleto Series, Hohner consulted with the world’s most famous artists to specifically address fingerboard dimensions, tactile feel, and smooth mechanism action for precise playing. Eduardo Hernandez of Los Tigres Del Norte commented when playing the new Anacleto Series “When I first placed my hand on the fingerboard, I could tell right away what I had in my hands without even playing it.”
