Named after the cremonese master himself Antonio Stradivari, this instrument is modeled in the pattern Stradivari called the Froma B (short for forma buono), or the “good model.” A slightly thinner body, compared to standard design. Like the original Stradivari cellos, this cello has a crisp, free tone. The G and C strings have a firm response, while the A and D are direct, with emphasized upper overtones. Collectors and violin making enthusiasts will appreciate the precise attention to detail found in this tribute to the original. Finished in a warm red oil varnish.
