This model was built in the main Kawai piano factory in Hamamatsu, Japan giving this piano the quality controlled conditions the factory is known for. Structurally it is sound and aesthetically in very good condition. Its condition is attributable to the minimal amount of playing time it has received. The Kawai model UST-6 studio upright piano is known to be easy to own with little needed in the way of service and the original bench is included. The finish is a traditional American style satin light-toned walnut.

This Kawai UST-6 studio upright piano plays expressively, accurately and smoothly - like a warm knife through butter. The tone is European-inspired and mellow; not nearly as bright as some other Japanese manufactured models. It has a warmth that is very pleasant.

This instrument has been thoroughly inspected by our service department and maintained to ensure it is sold in optimal playing condition. It includes a 90-day full-service warranty with purchase and will be tuned before delivery. Additional service plans are available at the time of purchase.
