Featuring the Responsive Hammer III keyboard action with 88-key counterweights, stunning SK-EX and EX concert grand piano sounds, and a high quality audio delivery system, the piano-focussed CN201 offers best-in-class touch & tone, Bluetooth® MIDI and Audio connectivity, and built-in lesson and recorder functions within a compact, elegant cabinet.
First, the acclaimed Responsive Hammer III action has been upgraded to improve stability and reduce action noise. The Shigeru concert grand piano has been enhanced for the best concert grand sound in a mid-range digital piano. The CN201's powerful sound system delivers improved tonal clarity and superior sound. The exclusive 'Low Volume Balance' feature intelligently adjusts the characteristics of the piano for optimal expression when playing at low volumes. In addition to Bluetooth MIDI, Bluetooth audio has been added for streaming audio through the piano's sound system.
The CN201 joins the roster of other Kawai models by supporting Kawai's PianoRemote and PiaBookPlayer apps which allow sounds, settings, and lesson scores to be accessed from an iOS or Android smart device. Finally, the redesigned control panel has a more intuitive layout which compliments the 2.5" OLED display.

Responsive Hammer III keyboard action
The CN201's acclaimed Responsive Hammer III keyboard action has been developed to recreate the touch feeling of playing a Kawai grand piano. Each key is authentically weighted using metal hammers which are 'graded' (i.e. slightly heavier in the bass region, and lighter in treble) just like an acoustic piano. These weights also allow released keys to return to their original position without the aid of springs, resulting in a smooth, natural playing experience.

MODERN DESIGN
The CN201's modern cabinet incorporates a curved leg design, with minimalist toe blocks for additional stability. Purchased directly from the Kawai Piano factory, it includes an Alamo five year warranty with purchase and will be tuned before delivery. Additional service plans are available at the time of purchase. The complete package qualifies for financing and includes a piano bench.
