Introduced in 2001, Essex is the name of Steinway's cost effective piano line. Steinway designed, built by Pearl River in China to Steinway's specifications.  The EGP-173 is a mid-size grand that delivers incredible value and performance at every level. This instrument has been thoroughly inspected by our service department and maintained to ensure it is sold in optimal playing condition. It includes a 90-day full-service warranty with purchase and will be tuned before delivery. Additional service plans are available at the time of purchase.
