Vintage looks, vintage voice, and a finish unlike anything else in its price range. The Eastman E10SS/V pairs an all-solid-wood slope-shoulder dreadnought design with Eastman's hand-applied Antique Varnish, the same finish used on the company's violins.

The varnish goes on in a six-step process: a basecoat to fill the grain, color application, and a French polish. The result is thinner and softer than lacquer. That thin layer lets the top and body vibrate more freely, giving the E10SS/V an open, resonant voice. It also gives the guitar a warm, aged look, so it feels like a well-loved vintage guitar from the first time you pick it up.

Under the finish, the E10SS/V is built the way a great dreadnought should be. A solid Adirondack spruce top with hand-carved scalloped X-bracing delivers power and projection. Solid mahogany back, sides, and neck bring warmth and a focused low end. The 24.75" scale length gives it an easy, comfortable feel, and the traditional even "C" neck suits strumming, flatpicking, and fingerstyle. Gotoh open-gear tuners and antique nickel hardware complete the vintage look, and a hardshell case is included.
