The Red Gc-LX a is a limited model from Furch's 2026 Backstage Event. The soundboard of the guitar is made of carefully selected Alpine spruce, whose clarity, headroom, and dynamic responsiveness are further enhanced by our innovative individual voicing process. The back and sides are crafted from Mountain Cocobolo, a tonewood prized for its deep bass response, rich overtones, and exceptional tonal complexity. As with all models in the Red Series, not only the top but also the back soundboard is individually voiced, resulting in a highly responsive and tonally refined instrument. Together, these materials produce a full, dynamic sound with warm lows, well-defined mids, and shimmering highs, offering excellent articulation and balance across the entire tonal spectrum. This makes the instrument equally well-suited for strumming, flatpicking, fingerstyle playing, and solo performance.
