The Martin Custom Deep Body 000 brings together a rare combination of premium tonewoods and custom appointments, originally inspired by the style 000-28 and showcased as part of NAMM 2026 (Set #55). Built with a deep auditorium body design, this guitar was designed to yield exceptional volume, rich resonance, with the comfortable playability 000 models are famous for. Featuring a solid Italian Alpine Spruce top, renowned for its crisp clarity, rich overtones, and expansive dynamic headroom. It is paired with striking Ziricote back and sides, this exotic tonewood pairing showcases complex grain patterns while also delivering deep, resonant bass and shimmering overtones. Inside, Golden Era scalloped 5/16" spruce X-bracing provides effortless responsiveness to subtle nuances in fingerpicking or bold strumming.
Designed with player comfort in mind, the neck is crafted from genuine mahogany in a Modified Low Oval profile with a High Performance Taper and a 24.9" scale length. It features a one of a kind Pale Moon Ebony fingerboard adorned with Maltese Snowflake abalone inlays and flamed European maple binding. A matching Pale Moon Ebony bridge, genuine bone nut, compensated bone saddle, and Grover 18:1 Sta-Tite nickel vintage tuners ensure rock-solid tuning stability, perfect intonation, and optimal energy transfer.
