Martin Custom Shop D-18 Dreadnought Adirondack VTS/Flamed Mahogany Hide Glue Acoustic Guitar
This special Custom Shop Martin D-18 has designed in-house by Christopher McKee. Based upon the D-18 with goal of balancing Martin authentic specs with modern playability this flamed mahogany dreadnought produces amazing tone! Hand selected flamed mahogany back and sides are joined to a VTS Adirondack Spruce top with VTS Adirondack bracing. The top features herringbone purfling with fine herringbone rosette. Golden era bracing and hide glue along with vintage top thickness and authentic thin finish allows the guitar to really resonate. Classic abalone 28 style inlay on the ebony fretboard strikes an understated elegance atop a genuine mahogany neck with open gear tuners and the timeless golden era Martin Script logo. Golden Era low oval profile with the high performance taper means that vintage tone doesn't have to be compromised with difficult playability.
