The Cordoba Luthier Select Friederich is a tribute to the designs of renowned French luthier Daniel Friederich, whose instruments are celebrated for their smooth, responsive tone and powerful projection. Part of Cordoba's Luthier Select Series, this model is handcrafted in small batches by expert luthiers, blending traditional nylon-string design with the reliability and playability modern musicians expect.
Inspired by Daniel Friederich's original construction methods, the guitar features a solid Canadian cedar top supported by a seven-fan bracing pattern with carefully carved spruce braces. Paired with solid rosewood back and sides, it produces a warm, expressive voice with strong bass response and excellent clarity. Elegant touches such as an intricate wood rosette, a carved headstock, and an ultra-thin polyurethane finish complete this refined classical guitar, which includes a deluxe, humidified archtop wood case.
