Gibson G-45 Studio and G-45 Standard Guitars Review
Gibson has introduced a pair of affordably priced solid wood acoustic guitars that are sure to turn some heads. The new G-45 Standard and G-45 Studio pick up with the popular J-15 left off with the round-shoulder dreadnought shape that is synonymous with Gibson and the J-45. The G-45 Standard and G-45 Studio both feature solid top, back and sides with electronics and a hard shell case for $1299 and $999, respectively. A slightly shallower depth, paired with a walnut back and sides and a solid spruce top with non-scalloped X-bracing producing a lively, punchy tone from both guitars. To see how good these new budget priced USA Gibson Acoustics were we put them through their paces and compared what's different, what's the same and which one you are likely to want to add to your stable of guitars.
