Gibson Guitar's Naked J-45 - Reviewing the Gibson J-45 Sustainable, The Weirdest, Coolest New Gibson

The new Gibson J-45 Sustainable is the closest thing to having a Gibson Guitar, "in the buff", so to speak. It is a environmentally focused guitar that seeks to strike a balance of Gibson Guitar tradition with forest conservation and safe environmentally conscious building practices. The woods are North American sourced SItka Spruce and Walnut. Wood inlays adorn the fret board and a wax finish gives it a satin luster with a unique feel. Still here is the traditional Gibson tone, perhaps heightened by the thin wax finish. It looks like a guitar that was practically carved from a tree and rolls with a unique natural vibe that is very appealing.
