Taylor Guitars Builder's Edition Comparison. Amazing Guitars! Which one is right for you?!

Taylor Guitars first unveiled the Builder's Edition with last years K14ce Builder's Edition. That guitar showcased the new V-class bracing and a host of other features introduced to make sure guitar ergonomically comfortable to play. The range then expanded to include the 614ce Builder's Edition with the same features but with Torrefied Sitka Spruce and Maple instead of the Torrefied Sitka Spruce and Koa on the K14ce BE. When the Grand Pacific was unveiled in January of 2019, the new body shape was made available in three models, two of which were only done as Builder's Edition guitars - the 517 and 717 models. These guitars made it clear that the Builder's Edition represented Andy Power's "Director's Cut" guitars. The Grand Auditorium models feature: a beveled armrest, beveled and contoured cutaway, chamfered binding (rounded off) and silent satin finish. The Grand Pacific models feature: chamfered binding, soft neck heal, compound neck carve, softened wing bridge, and silent satin finish. The newest model to join the ranks is the drop dead gorgeous K24ce Builder's Edition. With the growing line of these guitars we felt it was time to dive into the nuanced differences in features and tone that is available. So listen closely and see which one is right for you!
