We Recreated a Legendary Guitar from 1929! Martin & Alamo's Authentic 1929 OM-28
We are so excited to finally roll out one of the coolest things we've ever gotten to do with Martin Guitars. Our store began in 1929, and so did the 14 fret OM-28 from Martin-- to celebrate 95 years, we painstakingly recreated that historical instrument as close as we could in today's Custom Shop-- Adirondack top and bracing, full hide glue construction, Waverly Banjo tuners, thin finish, hand-selected Guatemalan rosewood back and sides, and a logo-less headstock (with a CF Martin stamp on the back) fill out the headline of a spec sheet that is sure to make any Martin purist giddy. Take a listen and let us know what you think!
