What Is The Yamaha DX-1 FM Syntheszier??

With only approximately 140 ever made, we're sure a lot of people want to know about the DX-1!  FM synthesis, or frequency modulation synthesis is a strange beast. It's basically modulating one waveform with another to create more complex or rich timbres.  That's a gross oversimplification, but let's just leave it at that for now.  

Most of you are probably aware of the famed DX-7, and the DX-1 is basically two of the aforementioned in one killer package.  Wood panels, multiple outputs, better organized programming capabilities, and weighted keys are just a few of the features on this flagship of FM synths!
