A Special UTSA Loanership Instrument
This piano is part of the exclusive UTSA & Kawai Loanership Program, a partnership between Kawai Pianos, the University of Texas at San Antonio School of Music, and Alamo Music Center. Every two years, we supply UTSA with a new fleet of Kawai instruments for academic use by the faculty and students in the department. Once their term is complete, these carefully used pianos return to Alamo Music and are offered to the public at significantly reduced pricing, with a portion of each sale donated back to the UTSA School of Music.
Because this K-200 spent its life in a supervised university environment, it has been professionally maintained, tuned, and regulated, resulting in excellent touch and tone. Student and faculty use has also helped the piano "open up," giving it a richer, more resonant sound than a brand-new unit.
